Jacob Brooks

Jacob Brooks, age 22, of Elizabeth, CO, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024. He was born on November 4, 2001 in Colorado, the son of Patricia Sweet and Steve Brooks.
Known for his kind heart, quick wit and infectious smile, Jacob left a lasting impact on everyone he met. He was deeply involved in his church community, often helping lead the youth group and participating in the college group. He was highly active throughout his entire life, from running track and wrestling, to the gym and the great outdoors. He was compassionate about spending his time outside in God's creation hiking, camping, climbing, fishing and all things water.
Jacob would often point out that he was able to have a positive attitude and unwavering patience due to the spirit of Christ living in him. He never stopped fighting for what he believed and for those he loved.
He never lost faith as he faced cancer head on, even in the face of death. He was a pillar or admirable strength and love. Through his strengths and weaknesses, Jacob always humbly pointed to God. To know Jacob was to know the undeniable love of Christ,
Jacob lived his life here on earth with full hope in his eternal home, after a long fight, the Lord has finished the work he had started in him, His race is won and our Lord has called him home.
