Stephen M Brooks, 50, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, in San Antonio. Born on March 18, 1975, in Austin, Texas, Stephen was raised in St. Louis, Missouri and lived most of his life there.
Stephen is survived by his wife Sonia M Brooks, daughter Isabella R Molinar (Gabriel Molinar), his son, Jacob D Brooks and his two beloved grandchildren, Joaquin and Emilio, his mother, Carroll Lynn Brooks, stepmother, Vela Fink Brooks, his brother, Michael Brooks (Suzanne), his nephews, Christian Brooks and Josiah Huerta, and other family and friends.
He enjoyed many trips to the beach with loved ones, sharing laughter and creating lasting memories. His Friday night dinners were a treasured tradition so that as a family we could catch up on the week. Stephen had a special love for decorating the home for Halloween and Christmas.
Stephen found joy in building intricate Lego sets and crafting model cars and planes. He enjoyed watching his scary movies and reading scary stories, his favorite author was Stephen King.
A Visitation for Stephen will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 beginning at 5:00 PM at Schertz Funeral Home, where friends and family can gather to celebrate Stephen's life.
