Jacob Asher Heflin blessed this world with his existence, born to Tyron and Amarr Heflin, in Corpus Christi, Texas, January 16, 2001 and was tragically taken from us, at the age of 22, June 02, 2023, long before we were ready to say goodbye.
Jacob was born with a soft heart and an old soul and brought light and laughter with him wherever he went.
He had a gift and passion for art and later found passion and purpose in geology. He poured his heart and soul into every aspect of his life whether it was the people he loved and invested his time and energy into, his studies, his work, or ultimately pursuing his career.
Jacob graduated Calallen High School in May 2019 and went on to earn an Associates Degree from Del Mar College and was in his last semester at Texas A & M University Kingsville where he was preparing to graduate with honors with a Bachelors Degree in Geology in December 2023.
Jacob had many friends and left a lasting impression on anyone who was blessed enough to know him, putting everyone else’s needs and feelings far beyond his own. His soft heart and pure soul were the foundation of his irresistible charisma.
He is preceded in death by his Oma, Irma Heflin and his Opa, John Heflin.
He lives on in the hearts of those remaining here to treasure his memory, his mother, Amarr Heflin; his father, Tyron Heflin; his sister, Erin Heflin; his Nana, Amarr Vines; his Pawpaw, Edward Vines; his Aunts, Karoline Crittendon and Beth Vines; his Uncles, Bryan Vines and Daryel Crittendon; and his cousins, Hannah Crittendon, Bryanna Vines, and Aimee Maceyko.
Jacob’s sudden departure from this world devastated so many. He will never be forgotten and will forever be loved and missed.
Our sweet boy made this world brighter. That light will be forever dimmed for those that loved and adored him.
He was an angel on Earth. May our sweet boy’s spirit soar free in peace and happiness forever.
