Jacob Cole Hudson

Skyline Community--Jacob Cole Hudson passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 13, 2025 at his home. A lifelong Lee County resident, Jacob was born March 22, 2000 the son of Gena Cunningham Bailey and Mark Hudson. He was a graduate of Saltillo High School and went on to earn his Associates Degree in Nursing from Itawamba Community College. Jacob served families with passion and compassion through his position with Legacy Hospice in New Albany. The light of his life and joy of his heart came from his family, particularly his son, Jaxon and his wife, Taylor.

Jacob leaves behind his bride, Taylor Brooke Hudson; his son, Jaxon Cole Hudson; his mother, Gena Bailey and her husband, Paul; his father, Mark Hudson and his wife, Lea; brother, Chase Hudson and wife, Amber; nieces, Oaklynn and Claire Hudson; his mother and father-in-law, Sheila and Tony Davidson; his brother-in-law, Josh Davidson; grandmother, Mary Nell Cunningham; and grandfather, Charles Hudson.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Thomas Cunningham and grandmother, Patty Hudson.

Jacob’s family will honor his memory with a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues with Rev. Blake Buchanan officiating and his father-in-law, Tony Davidson delivering the eulogy.
