Jacob Cole Kennimer, fondly remembered as a kind and welcoming soul, passed away on July 5, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas, and was born on July 12, 1975, in Dallas, Texas, to parents Jimmy Dell and Cheryl Denise (Boyd) Kennimer.
Jacob was a dedicated Drywall Superintendent whose work ethic and craftsmanship were admired by many. Jacob's commitment extended beyond his career; he was a proud member of the Masonic community. He became a Master Mason on March 28, 2022, at Kemp Masonic Lodge No. 528, where he previously served as the Senior Warden. Additionally, he was an endowed member of Bloomfield Masonic Lodge No. 112 in Kaufman, Texas, and Kaufman Masonic Lodge No. 726 in Scurry, Texas. His service as Chaplain of Bloomfield Lodge No. 112 showcased his dedication and leadership within the fraternity.
Known for his love of animals and music—especially rock—Jacob brought joy to those around him. He cherished the time spent helping his father, and his affinity for scary movies was a testament to his adventurous spirit. His kindness touched many lives, and he will be remembered for his ability to make everyone feel welcomed.
Jacob joins his late parents, Jimmy and Cheryl Kennimer, in eternal peace.
Jacob is survived by his loving family, including his brothers Jimmy Kennimer and Jeffrey Kennimer. He was a proud uncle to his nephew, Jimmy Ray Kennimer, and nieces Alexandrea Kennimer and Rose Kennimer. He is also survived by his uncle Darrell Boyd, along with several great nieces and nephews who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and community spirit.
His memory will continue to inspire those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
