Elisa “Lisa” Kennimer passed away on Sunday morning, February 22, 2026, at 4:12 a.m. She was born on March 29, 1965, and lived a life defined by love, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Lisa was one of six brothers and sisters, growing up surrounded by a large and loving family that shaped her deep appreciation for togetherness. From an early age, she understood the importance of family bonds, and she carried that value with her throughout her entire life.
For 46 beautiful years, Lisa shared her life with her devoted husband, James Kennimer. Their marriage was a testament to loyalty, partnership, and enduring love. Together, they built a home rooted in faith, strength, and commitment, raising three children — two sons and one daughter — who were her pride and joy.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, James Kennimer; her son Joshua Kennimer and his wife, Sondra Kennimer, and their two sons, Caiden and Colton; and her daughter, Jessica Carr and her husband, Chris Carr, and their two sons, Stetson and Austin.
Lisa was especially proud to see her family grow into the next generation. Her grandson, Stetson Carr, and his wife, Bayli Carr, blessed her with two beautiful great-granddaughters, Hayli and Jadyn. Becoming a great-great-grandmother was one of her greatest joys, and she cherished every moment spent watching her family grow.
Lisa had the kindest heart and never knew how to tell anyone “no.” If she had something and someone needed it, she gave it. If she didn’t have it, she would find a way to make it happen. Her generosity wasn’t about what she owned — it was about who she was. She loved fiercely, gave freely, and always put others before herself.
Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and open doors. Holidays were louder because of her, meals were sweeter because she made them, and family gatherings felt complete when she was there. She had a quiet strength that held everyone together.
Lisa’s legacy is one of selflessness, compassion, and unconditional love. She taught her family what it means to show up, to give without expecting anything in return, and to love without limits. Though she is no longer physically with us, her spirit lives on in the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who carry her heart forward.
She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and always remembered.
