Eric , Lori and family.
My heart aches for you with the loss of Jake.
I continue to pray for you and I believe he is embraced by all the dear ones who have gone before. I hope the hope we share brings you comfort and peace.
Your family has suffered much in past years including Eva who I loved and still miss as well as her beloved John.
I grieve with you and pray God holds you close. May memories bring you some measure of comfort. God be with you.

So saddened for all of you. May the words of consolation from those who were close to him and those whose lives he had touched bring you comfort and help you in your grieving. Wrap yourself in the happy memories you made and hold each other. Many that you may not be aware of are praying for you.

I was so shocked to see this! Jacob was such a sweet guy and so much fun to have as a student! He will be greatly missed!!

My heart is broken for the family and friends of Jake Mothersbaugh. It was the fall of 2017 when I met the crew of young Marine men and Jake was in the core group of young guys. "Mothers" was his nickname, they each had one. They were scheduled to deploy to Syria that Christmas. My heart ached for those young men and their parents for what was to come, luckily at the last minute, troops were no longer going to Syria. I had the pleasure of years of holidays and barbeques at my house near the base and it brought life and happiness to a house empty of children. I have two daughters and now I had their group of young men, sons that I never got to have. Jake was a character with a huge heart, sense of humor and the life of the party. When the life of the party was no longer an option, he was the one that made sure everyone got home safe. He seemed happier in that role and worked hard at it. I was so proud of his sobriety, it´s a hard battle that many face and he realized that hurdle at such a young age. Now my heart aches for his baby daughter and I hope that everyone around her will let her know what a beautiful soul this man was. I want all of my `Marine sons´ to know that I am always here if you need me.
With all my love, Mama Eells.
