Jacob Aaron Sharpe, born on June 15, 1997, in Iredell County, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2025. Jacob had worked as a maintenance worker at Pratt Industries, where he contributed his skills and knowledge.
A proud graduate of West Iredell High School, he was known for his strong family values and was deeply committed to his loved ones, especially cherishing the moments he spent with his son, Logan Sharpe. Jacob's warmth and devotion to family were seen in the way he connected with those around him, strengthening relationships and creating lasting memories.
Jacob had a variety of interests that brought him joy. He loved the beach and found solace in fishing, hunting, and hiking. His passion for baseball was evident, having played on a traveling team, showcasing his commitment and love for the sport throughout his life.
He was of the Baptist faith, drawing upon his beliefs for guidance and strength.
Jacob is survived by his father, Wayne Sharpe, Jr.; mother, Barbara Nance Sharpe; son, Logan Sharpe; brother, Joshua Sharpe (Toni); paternal grandmother, Judy Williams; maternal grandfather, Bobby Nance (Pearl); maternal grandmother, Joyce Adams (Lynn); paternal step-grandmother, Ann Sharpe, niece, Ella Sharpe, with a nephew on the way; three aunts, Traci McNeely, Jennifer Sharpe, and Sandi Reavis; uncle, Kenny Reavis (Danni); cousin, Darren Sharpe, who was like a brother to him; and many cousins, family members, and good friends who will forever hold his memory dear.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Justin Sharpe and his paternal grandfather, Jerry Sharpe.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 25, 2025, at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel in Statesville, NC, starting at 7:00 PM, with visitation following at Nicholson Funeral Home from 7:30 PM until 8:30 PM.
Jacob Aaron Sharpe will be missed dearly, and his legacy will continue to inspire those he touched in his short but impactful life.
