Jacqueline A. Barnett 57, of New Lenox was born in Chicago to Peggy Lee (Dorsey) and the late Kenneth Anthony Galczak and passed away December 7, 2024. Beloved wife of Steven E Barnett; loving mother of Meagan (Kent Hickey) Barnett and Ethan (Ally Bray) Barnett; dear sister of Christine Rentner; fond aunt of Jaclyn Rentner, Madison Rentner, Tyler Rentner, and Amanda Farris; cherished daughter in law to Barry and Diane Barnett; sister in law of Nicholas (Laine Peterson) Barnett and Kimberly (Dan) Farris. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel on Friday December 13, 2024 from 3-8pm. A chapel service will be the following morning at the funeral home at 10am. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery Justice, IL. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Jacqueline’s name to The Brookfield Zoo at https://www.brookfieldzoo.org/donate
