Jacqueline "Fountain" Bucher

Jacqueline Bucher, 77 years old, passed away on March 11, 2026, at 10:30am at in IN.

Jacqueline was born on February 14, 1949, in Birmingham, AL, to the late Leo and Dorothy (Moses) Fountain, Sr. On January 21, 2001, Jacqueline married the love of her life, James "Jim" Bucher, who preceded her in death. Jacqueline was also preceded in death by her parents: Dorothy Fountain and Leo Fountain, Sr., Daughter; Jacqueline Denies Holiday, Grandmother; Fannie White, Brother; Leo Fountain Jr, Sister: Susan Fountain and Linda Fountain, Nephews; Delano Groves, Jaron Groves Jr. and Harry Lockridge, Nieces; Javonda Tharbs and Starvell Causian.

Left to cherish their memories, Jacqueline is survived by Children; Sharon Elizabeth Wilkes of South Bend, IN, Elviroy Holiday of Granger, IN, DeShawn Lax of Atlanta, GA, Olivia S Kryconski, Jumpa V Holiday, Antony Ray Hoilday of Southbend, IN (children) , Siblings; Yvonne (Clyde) Lewis, DeLeoris Fountain of South Bend, IN, Dorothy Tina Fountain of South Bend, IN, Gloria Fountain of South Bend, IN, Evelyn of South Bend, IN, Uncle; Roy Mosley of Kentucky, Aunt; Alica Martche of Cincinnati, OH , Niece; Monica Fountain of Cincinnati, OH , Grandchildren; Tasarra N Holiday, Princeton Lax, Clifton V Holiday of Warsaw, IN.

Jacqueline graduated from Central high school; she was working in the hospitality industry before retiring. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards and watching the ID Channel. She loved the outdoors, loved to dance and music, and barbeque and family outings were her favorite.

She was very artistic and loved to draw. Jacqueline loved a good crossword puzzle; she would go through them quickly. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

A Visitation will be held for Jacqueline at 10:00am on March 26 at St Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S Mayflower Road, South Bend, IN 46619. A service will follow at 12:00pm. Afterwards, we will proceed to an entombment at Riverview Cemetery.
