Jacqueline Lorraine (Schenker) Conover January 6, 1939 - December 13, 2025. Jacqueline Conover age 86 passed away peacefully at Ridgewood Senior Living in Smithville, N.J. She was born in the Cologne section of Galloway Township, N.J. She was pre-deceased by her parents Herman Alfonse and Yvonne Schenker, first husband William Schultz, husband of 60 years Sherwood Conover, and son William Herman Conover, as well as brothers Arthur and Herman Schenker. She leaves behind her children Michael John Conover-Schultz, Jeffrey Sherwood Conover (wife Pamela), and Edward Russell Conover; her sister-in-law Hilda Cetin; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Jacqueline grew up in Cologne and attended the Atlantic County school system. She was a homemaker and raised her children in the house she and her loving, devoted husband Sherwood constructed in the Oceanville section of Galloway. She enjoyed arts, crafts, music, cooking, baking and attending church. She was a member of the Absecon Ladies bowling league and the Oceanville Volunteer Fire Company's Ladies Auxiliary for many years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Sherwood and spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends. Please join us in honoring the life of Jacqueline at the Wimberg Funeral Home, 211 E. Great Creek Rd. in Galloway Township on December 29, 2025. The viewing will be held from 11 am to 12 pm.
