Dangelo, Jacqueline S. (Amendola), February 25, 1928 - August 29, 2024.
Loving daughter to the late Dr. Alfred and Mary Amendola; dedicated wife to the late Edmund Dangelo; sister to the late Alfred, Anthony, Paul and Joan; Jackie leaves her children Julie Ann Cate and husband Buz of New Hampshire; Michael and his partner Colleen of Centerville; Paul and Donnah of Pittsfield; Maria Tocci and husband Alan of Waltham; and Jacqueline Axford and husband James of Boston. She will be reunited with her predeceased daughter, Dodi (Doreen) Tocci. She also leaves behind her thirteen loving grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Jackie was also a faithful aunt.
She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with children whether it was teaching catechism or helping out with elementary school lunches. Jackie taught everyone the importance of family values, love and life lessons that will be cherished forever. She will be missed everyday. She is now dancing in heaven with Emmy just as they did on Earth.

Visiting hours in the Magni Funeral Home, 365 Watertown St, Newton on Thursday, September 5 from 4-8pm and again on Friday morning at 9:15am before proceeding to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St, Newton for a 10:30am Funeral Mass. Burial is private.

Instead of sending flowers, the best way to honor Jackie is to donate to her favorite charity which was St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
