Jacqueline DeLozier Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel - Covington on Jan. 12, 2026.
Mrs. Jacqueline Kay DeLozier, known as Jackie to her friends and family, left this world on January 6, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on July 23, 1955, Jackie's warmth and nurturing spirit were evident from a young age, qualities that only deepened as she journeyed through life.

Jackie's legacy is carried on by her devoted husband of 48 years, Kevin Dale DeLozier, Sr. Together, they built a family founded on unconditional love and mutual respect, a bond that only strengthened with time. Jackie's life was further blessed with the joy of her children, Kelley Whitley and Kevin Dale DeLozier, Jr.

The role of grandmother was one that Jackie embraced with every ounce of her being. Her grandchildren, Autumn Leigh Whitley, Dakota Wesley Whitley, Katherine Marie Delozier, Elizabeth Nicole DeLozier, and Beverly Kay DeLozier, were the apple of her eye. She cherished every moment spent with them, from holiday baking sessions to quiet afternoons filled with stories and laughter. The recent addition of her great-granddaughter, Weslynn Marie Whitley, brought her immense joy and pride.

Jackie is survived by her loving sisters, Deborah Brumbelow (Charlie), Cynthia Kessock, and Sandra Valez (Charlie), who will miss her greatly.

Preceding Jackie in death were her beloved parents, John and Beverly Duncan, her treasured son, Kasey William DeLozier, and her brother, Robert A. Duncan.

Jackie's passion for her family was paralleled by her love for baking, a skill she wielded with grace and creativity. The aroma of her kitchen, especially around the holidays, was a hallmark of the DeLozier family gatherings.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with these services.
