Jacqueline H. "Jackie" Dittloff, age 88, of Green Bay passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Caraton Commons, De Pere.
Jackie was born December 22, 1935 in Green Bay, daughter of the late John and Helen (Clowry) Peterson. She was a graduate of Marion High School with the class of 1954. She attended Badger State, was a cheerleader, and played clarinet in the high school band. It was also said by her classmates that if girls had basketball at that time, Jackie would have been all-state. She was salutatorian of her class. She attended and graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a major in elementary education and went on to get her master's as a reading specialist. Jackie and her future husband, Richard, met on the UW-Oshkosh campus and married on August 22, 1959. Over the next ten years, four little kids knocked on our door, including Mark, Deanna, David, and Kari, and said "Here I am." Jackie was a great mother and loved her children dearly.
Jackie was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, having taught Sunday school, served on the church council, and attended Bible studies. Jackie's faith was obvious.
Jackie taught in various area school districts, but did take some time off to raise her children. The following years resulted in sending children off to college, the family often vacationing in
St. Germain, WI, and traveling to various places in the United States. She enjoyed spending time with her family, was a hummingbird lover, and enjoyed working in the yard. She had a way of making each holiday special, as well as the many family picnics. Jackie was very competitive in playing board and yard games.
Our family would like to thank all the many family and friends for their love and support for Jackie and her family.
