Jacqueline M. "Jackie" (Corson) Fox, 80, of Jersey Shore, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2026, at The Williamsport Home. She was born on January 6, 1946, in Jersey City, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Lawrence, Sr. and Roselyn (Santulli) Corson.
When Jackie was a teenager, she and her family moved to Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. Jackie graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School. She married the love of her life, Robert H. Fox, Sr. on August 14, 1965. She worked at Tetley Tea before starting her family with Robert. After her children were in school, she worked as a teacher’s aide at the old Woodward Township Elementary school for 12 years. She left that job to begin her most cherished role, being Nana to her grandchildren. Jackie was member of Antes Fort Methodist church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for both children and adults for over 50 years. She enjoyed playing cards with the 500 Club and was a former member of the Junior Women’s Club of Jersey Shore.
Jackie was an excellent homemaker. She liked to bake, cook, and watch Penn State Football. Although there was some trial and error in her early baking endeavors (a chocolate chip cake that was unable to be cut, lives on in family lore), she made beautiful cakes and delicious pies for birthdays and family gatherings. She also had such a memory and attention to detail that she could regale you with the color details of decades old black and white photographs. Jackie was a warm and caring person who laughed freely and loved well. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her husband of over 60 years, Robert, Jackie is survived by her children, Laurel Fox of Williamsport; Robert H. Fox, Jr. (Marie) of Jersey Shore; and Andrew Fox (Laurie) of Courtland, Virginia; 10 grandchildren, Robert H. III (Trey), Dylan, Adam, Michael, Elliot, Riley, Hayden, Meredith, Evan, and Lexi Fox; siblings, Georgiana Mazur (Paul) of Laguna Hills, California; Lawrence Corson, Jr. (Melanie) of Williamsport; and Maureen Dincher (Michael) of Williamsport; and many nieces and nephews. Jackie is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Veronica Corson and Mary Robin Corson.
The funeral service to celebrate the life of Jackie will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Antes Fort Methodist Church, 19 4th St., Antes Fort, PA 17720 with Pastor Max Furman officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a public viewing from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church on Friday. A luncheon will immediately follow the service in the church social hall. Family and friends can then attend the burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Jackie’s name to either St. Jude Children’s Research hospital at www.stjude.org/donate or Antes Fort Methodist Church at 19 4th St., Antes Fort, PA 17720.
