A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 17, at 2 P.M., in Homestead Memorial Gardens in Greenville. The family will visit with friends after the service at the cemetery.
Mrs. Jackie enjoyed reading her Bible and ministering to others. She loved spending time with her family, walking around her neighborhood for exercise, and going on weekend excursions with her sister, Levon, daughter-in-law, Sandra, and grandson, Darius. Mrs. Jackie always talked to people about God and prayed for them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Gardner, and a daughter, Candace Gardner.
She is survived by her daughter, Marnia McIntyre and husband, Darryl; son, Eric Gardner and wife, Sandra; grandchildren, Darius Gardner, Ashli Edwards, Tyler Gardner, Varnét Hoskins, and Travis (TJ) Jones; sisters, Levon Smith and husband, Joe, Barbara St. Clair, and Sharon Hopkins.
