Jacqueline Ann Gensler, 88 years, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, at Lynwood Manor in Adrian, MI, under the care of Elara Caring Hospice.

Born February 14, 1937, in the Scheid Farmhouse in Ida, MI, she was the daughter of Edward and Leone (England) Scheid. Jackie attended school in Ida, MI, and lived most of her life in the Ida and Monroe, MI areas and recently in Adrian, MI.

Jackie was a loving mother and homemaker as well as a devoted caregiver to her youngest son, Brad. She and Brad enjoyed snow birding in Winter Haven, Florida for several years and made many dear friends while there. She also enjoyed having her children visit while in Florida.

Jackie was known for her kindness and generosity and made friends wherever she went. She loved spending time with family and friends. She hosted many family gatherings over the years at her summer home at Poplar's Resort at Lake Pleasant in Osseo, MI. Another passion of Jackie's was going "garage-sailing". She enjoyed discovering great finds and treasures and would always pass many on to family members to enjoy.

To cherish her memory are her daughter, Vicki (Rich) Reinhart; her sons, Ron Stasko and Brad Gensler; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Jackie was preceded in death by her sons, Randy Gensler and Gregg Gensler; grandson, Ryan Gensler; her parents; step-father, Edward Coutcher; sister, Marilyn Hathaway; brother, Edward Scheid; and many dear friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, Saturday November 8, 2025, from 11AM until the memorial service at 12PM. Pastor Aaron Werner of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Ida, MI, will officiate. Burial of cremains will take place at Maplewood Cemetery, Ida, MI.
