Sandra Ellen Gensler

Sandra Ellen Gensler, 80, of Camp Hill, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Born June 15, 1945, in Reinertown, PA, she was a daughter of the late David Edward Evans and Joyce Romaine (Herman) Evans.

Sandra was a high school graduate and went on to work for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania before later serving as a Customer Service Representative for New Penn Motor Express, where she worked until her retirement. Sandra was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Shiremanstown. She enjoyed making ceramics, embroidering, and became politically active in her later years.

A true people person, Sandra volunteered whenever she could and freely offered a helping hand to any and all. She will be remembered for her warm spirit, her generosity, and the kindness she extended to everyone she met.

Sandra leaves behind her grandson, Joseph Robert Gouse; her niece, Elaine Meily and her husband Jason; her great-niece, Paige Meily; her great-nephew, Dexter Meily; and her former husband, Jack Gensler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Rex Gensler; and her brother, David Evans.

She will be laid to rest at Tri County Memorial Gardens in Lewisberry, Wednesday, December 17, 2025, 12:00PM.
