Bonnie L. Cressler

Bonnie L. Cressler, 79, of New Cumberland, entered into eternal rest, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Born January 19, 1946, in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Kunkel and Erma (Sholly) Kunkel. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel S. Cressler, Jr.

Bonnie attended Cedar Cliff High School and later proudly earned her GED. She worked for E.K. Cheese for many years, rising to the role of Plant Manager before her retirement. A woman of deep faith, Bonnie was an active member of Faith Assembly of God in New Cumberland. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her time with her family and her dogs.

She enjoyed word searches, crossword puzzles, and reading-especially her Bible. She was also an avid Penn State Football fan, the only team she cheered for.

Bonnie leaves behind her 2 daughters, Sherri M. Yesconis and Tammy L. Jones (John); her 6 grandchildren, Pastor Jessica, Johnna (Brandon), Cameron (Lydia), Caulin, Twyla, and Keith; her 6 great-grandchildren, Asher, Mazie, Oliver, Claire, Jimi, and Rozlyn; her 2 sisters, Wende Johnston (Doug) and Barbara Blauser; her son-in-law, Kerry Danner; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death a beloved daughter, Diane M. Danner; and a brother-in-law, John Blauser.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, December 14, 2025, 3PM, at Faith Assembly of God, 806 Fishing Creek Road, New Cumberland, PA 17070. Pastor Jessica Jones officiating.
