Duane Lee Heberlig

Duane Lee Heberlig, 69, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Hershey Medical Center. Born June 3, 1956, in Carlisle, he was the son of the late Herbert and Clara (Shatto) Heberlig. Duane was the beloved husband of Pamela A. (Bohn) Heberlig, with whom he shared 34 years of love.

A graduate of Carlisle High School, Duane went on to attend HACC. He worked for many years with McDonald's, rising through the ranks to become a Store Manager. He later began a long and fulfilling career with Hershey Entertainment, where he held several positions, most recently assisting with animal care at Hershey ZooAmerica.

In his younger years, Duane enjoyed playing tennis and golf, and he continued to enjoy watching both sports throughout his life. He loved cooking, cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events, and spending time with his friends. Duane will be remembered for his kindness, his steady presence, and the genuine joy he found in supporting those he loved. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife Pamela, Duane leaves behind his son, Dustin Heberlig (Carrie); his daughters, Dana Heberlig and Rachel Morrell (John); his step-sons, Frank DiScuillo, Jr. (Doreen) and Brian DiScuillo (Kelly); his grandchildren, Knox, Jayden, Liam, Kolbin, and Aspen; his step-grandchildren, Devon, Kyle, Kayla, Aggy, Benjamin, and Ellie; and his great-grandchild, Brynlee.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers, James Heberlig, Dennis Heberlig, and Kim Heberlig; his sisters, Gloria Sunday and Audrey Baker; and a granddaughter, Londyn.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Gathering, Monday, December 1, 2025, 4-7PM, at Union Beer House, 2631 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, PA 17042.

A memorial service will be held at Lifeway Church at a future date.
