Glann, Jacqueline Rose - Age 96, of Grand Blanc, died January 12, 2024. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday January 18 at Sharp Funeral Home 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Pastor Mark E. Pretznow officiating. Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 3-7 PM Wednesday January 17; and 10-11 AM Thursday January 18. Those desiring may contributions in lieu of flowers, to the Alzheimer's Association.
Jacqueline, affectionately known to her family and friends as Jackie, was born July 16, 1927 in Flint, the daughter of Edward and Lena (Miller) Lasley. Jackie married the love of her life, Ervin Harold Glann, on April 27, 1945. Together they enjoyed camping, boating, traveling, bowling and spending time with their family. She worked for Galaxy Bowling Alley watching children, and babysat often, caring for others was Jackie’s passion in life. After her husband’s passing she spent time with her siblings, going on cruises, traveling and going to the casino, Jackie was always on the go. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Jackie is survived by her sons, Ervin (Joanne) Glann of Grand Blanc, John (Kay) Glann of Knoxville, TN, Ron (Donna) Glann of Burton; grand-children, Danielle (Dave) Oliver, John II (Jessica), Brandon (Christine), Rachel Greenfield, Jacob, Amy (Casey) Sparks, Ashley McKay; many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Mortier of Clio; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ervin H. Glann; brothers, James, Charles, Robert, Edward, William, Benjamin; sisters, Harriett Seeback, Vickie Butler, Virginia (Smokey) Neirman, Arlene Cypher. The family extends special thanks and appreciation to her Special Nieces and Caregivers, Kellee Lasley and Lisa McFarland.
