Jacqueline "Jackie" Hatcher passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 13, 2025, in Plymouth, Indiana at the age of 75. A wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister who possessed a kind heart, unconditional love, and made a lasting impact on her family.

She was born on May 22, 1950, in Hazard, Kentucky to Sinia Faye (Adams) Hatcher and Clarence Hatcher as one of ten children. Jackie and her family moved to the area when she was a teenager, graduating from Warsaw High School in 1968. She went on to work for over 30 years at R.R. Donnelley's in Warsaw where she filled many roles and finished her career as a crib attendant. Jackie cared so much for her family and always made them her priority in life. She retired early to lovingly care for her mother.

Jackie will be remembered for consistently putting other's needs before herself. She was always on the go spending quality time with loved ones: from family picnics, camping and boating, to nights of racing at the New Paris Speedway, and cruising in her convertible. Always supportive of her children and grandchildren through coaching and cheering them on in all of their activities. Grammy was simply devoted to her loved ones.

Jacqueline will forever be remembered by her son, Scotty VanHawk (Warsaw, IN); two daughters, Raeanne (Chris) Stevens (Culver, IN); and Georgianna (Glenn) Smith (Cassopolis, MI). Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Carter, Natalie and Landon Stevens; Tya (Nome) Noringhang, Savanah and Haley Smith; Zoey and Talon VanHawk; and two great grandchildren, Ethan and Olivia. As well as five brothers, Henry Rubin Larry (Connie) Hatcher (Pierceton, IN); James Fane (Ann) Hatcher (Warsaw, IN); Silvester "Rick" (Virginia) Hatcher (Warsaw, IN); Clarence Nicholas and the late Connie Hatcher (Warsaw, IN); Steven Timothy Hatcher (Warsaw, IN); and two sisters, Kathleen (Gary) Kilbourne (Pierceton, IN); Vicki Sue (Curtis) Holle (Bloomington, IN). She also leaves behind countless friends, nieces and nephews...some related by blood others lovingly and unofficially adopted! She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Darrell Wayne Hatcher, sister, Jean Ellen Sturgill, and a great nephew, Coleton Cahill.

Jacqueline's life will be celebrated with a service at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 11:00 –2:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Leesburg Cemetery, Leesburg, Indiana. Family and friends are invited to gather and reminisce after burial at the Leesburg Community Building.

Memorial donations may be directed to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana to go towards funeral expenses.
