Jackie was born April 13, 1942 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Ervin and Wanda (Barber) Coppinger. She grew up in Bay City and graduated from Bay City Central High School with the class of 1960. On March 18, 1961 she married Oscar Helmreich Jr. in Auburn, Michigan. Jackie opened her own business called Jackie's Hobbies and Crafts for many years.
Jackie enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and canning. She loved Elvis Pressley, and ninety's country music and doing crafts. However, her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren.
To the woman who runs both a household and a farm your strength is unmatched. You wake before the sun, your hands shaping the land and nurturing a home with the same fierce love and determination. You are not just a housewife. You are not just a farmer. You are the backbone of your family and the earth beneath their feet. Your work often goes unseen, but its impact is everywhere in every harvest, every meal, every life you touch. Here's to your courage, your grit, and the quiet power you carry every single day.
Surviving are: Husband of 64 years, Oscar Helmreich; Children, Steve (Randy) Grabowski, Gerald Helmreich, Glenn (Cristy) Helmreich; Grandchildren, Ashton (Erica) Grabowski, Heather (Jason) Tull, Dakota Grabowski, Justin (Monique) Helmreich, Collin (Courtney) Grabowski, Zachariah Helmreich, Janet Helmreich; Great Grandchildren, Brett Tull, Cadence Tull, Addison Helmreich, Abel Helmreich, Dylan Helmreich, Junior Helmreich, Pierse Grabowski, Spence Grabowski, Nola Grabowski, Nash Grabowski; Great - Great Grandson, Ryker Tull. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Sisters, Lenora Funt, Violet Scott, Betty Knollinger; Father and Mother in law, Oscar (Molly) Helmreich Sr., and many in laws.
