Thomas "Tom" Belill

BELILL, Thomas "Tom" – of Birch Run, age 77, died Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Hurley Medical Center surrounded by loved ones. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no service at this time.
Thomas Belill will be fondly remembered as a man whose love for tractors and farm life ran deep in his heart. Each year, he proudly joined his closest friends for the Mackinac Bridge Antique Tractor Crossing, celebrating the simple joys of hard work, friendship, and tradition. Tom had a gift for finding humor and making others laugh in every situation-his goofy personality was infectious, his stories unforgettable, and his presence a comfort to all who knew him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it, and later in life that may have looked more like a supervising role. Whether out driving and looking at fields or gathering with friends, he brought warmth, joy, and laughter wherever he went. His memory will continue to ride on, like the steady hum of a trusted old tractor, through the lives and hearts of those who loved him.
Tom is forever remembered by: Siblings: Sue Ann (Jim) Bennett, Phil (Shari) Belill, Tina Bennett, Tim (Cheryl) Belill, and Sheri (Craig) Belill-House; Many beloved nieces and nephews; Best friend and partner in crime, David Dowd and his beloved family, the Dowd clan. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Emerson and Donna Belill.
