SWITALSKI, Harold J. "Jake" – of Flushing, age 70, died peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Jake's Life will be announced at a later date.
Harold was born on September 2 1955, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Harold and Jean (Fritzler) Switalski. He graduated from Flushing High School with the class of 1974. Jake married Ann Switalski in 1980 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Flint, and together they shared many happy years. He retired from Delphi in 2008 with 30 years of service and was a proud member of UAW Local #651. Jake was an avid bow and rifle hunter who loved spending time in the woods or out on the water fishing. He also enjoyed playing cards and was a fan of the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, and University of Michigan. Above all, he was a loving husband and father.
Surviving are: Wife, Ann Switalski; Sons: Jacob Switalski, and James (Corie) Switalski; Twin grandchildren: Ruby and James Switalski; Siblings: Mike Switalski, Carl Switalski, and Barb Kelly; Nieces: Hannah and Devinne.
