Kenneth Neil Switalski died March 14, 2025, at the age of 70. Ken was a resident of Beverly Hills, Michigan. He was born July 30, 1954 to Edmund and Sybil Switalski, in Detroit, Michigan.
Ken was the beloved brother of Kathleen Guider, Cynthia Switalski (late Thomas Martin), and Gregory Switalski. He was the loving uncle of Jonathan Schantz (Seanna), Anthony Martin, Christopher Martin, Suzanne Sterkenberg (Chad), Aimee Freeman (Daniel), and great-uncle of Lauryn, Carter, Bailey, Chloe, Stella, Megan, Katherine, Emily, and Callie. Ken is also survived by many cousins, especially Richard Hofmann, who said Kenny was more like a brother than a cousin, and his dear cousin Maryanne Wendell and her son Cody, who was like a son to Ken.
Kenny was always the favorite uncle, whether it was holding an infant, sitting on the floor with a young one, filling a teen's head with information, or providing free VIP parking to an adult. Kenny was also a devoted son, visiting his father almost daily as his father became more housebound, able to lift his spirits and brighten his day.
Kenny loved his job which allowed him to hear and see all the great names in the entertainment and sports industries. His co-workers always knew he would go the extra mile for them, and they enjoyed his frequent wit.
In recent years, Kenny became unbeatable in the local trivia contests, using his phenomenal memory. Kenny was an alumni of Wayne State University.
His family and countless friends will miss him dearly.
Family will receive friends Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 4 - 6 pm, with a prayer service at 6 pm, at A.J. Desmond & Sons, 2600 Crooks Road (between Maple & Big Beaver), Troy, Michigan (248-362-2500).
Memorial tributes can be made to the American Heart Association www.heart.org
