Jacqueline Hofflander Obituary
She was born September 3, 1938, in Highland Park, IL, the daughter of Gerard and Dorothy Brand Noerenberg. Jackie was a graduate of Highland Park High School.
Jackie lived in Highland Park, IL, Waukegan, IL, along with Shoup and Salmon, ID. She worked for Jewel Tea Company in Waukegan, IL, and as a grocery store manager for the IGA in Salman, ID, Poy Sippi Library, and for the United States Census. Jackie was an active member in the Pine River Homemakers and a volunteer for the Poy Sippi Food Pantry.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Mark) Kretzmann; two sons, Anthony (Holly) De Filippo and Michael (April) De Filippo; daughter-in-law, Jessica H. De Filippo; nine grandchildren, Dominick De Filippo, Jedediah De Filippo, Theodore Kretzmann (Emily Fredrick), Ian De Filippo (fiancé, Amy Gramza), Tara (Billy) Babe, Krystal De Filippo, Shelby De Filippo, Raven (Shanker Chalekode) De Filippo and Jacqueline (Joshua) Breitund; 15 great-grandchildren, Frankie, Dominick, Jedediah, Logan, Valerie, Billy, Maddy, Hailey, Brooke, Gianni, Phoenix, Harlow, Indra, Evelyn, Lachlan; cousin and sister-at-heart, Barbara (Mark) Connell; nieces; nephews; and lifelong friend, Nancy (Andrew) Orsini. Jackie was preceded in death by her daughter, Rose M. De Filippo; son, John D. De Filippo; brother, Gerard S. Noerenberg; and sister, Shirley A. Noerenberg Ubinger.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola-Hempel Funeral Chapel in Poy Sippi. Anyone wishing to send a sympathy card to the family, please mail to Jacqueline Hofflander, c/o Barbola-Hempel Funeral Chapel, PO Box 201, Poy Sippi, WI 54967.
