Jacqueline Ann Hoy, 81, passed away peacefully July 9, 2025 with family by her side. Born in Akron, Ohio to John Yilling and Mary Carrier, she was a lifelong area resident. Jacqueline was a faithful believer in Jesus who enjoyed shopping, listening to music, watching crime shows and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by grandsons, Brandon W. Brake, Tyler C. Luke. She will be sadly missed by her children, Kathryn (Marc) Schreckengost, Michelle Luke, Larry (Maureen) Hoy, Kristine (Timothy) Floyd; grandchildren, Joshua, Rachelle (Derik), Taylor, Sarah, Jason, Brandon, Xavier, Jacqlyn (Justin), Josslyn; great grandchildren, Kamrin, Kaleb, Kristopher, Lyna, Elam, Ashton, Lukas, Kendall, Daisy, Elizabeth, Elijah, Elyanna; sisters, Song Parmalee, Sandra Creech.
Everyone is welcome to attend the graveside service Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 2580 Roming Rd., Akron. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Jacqueline's name to the Hope and Healing Survivor Resource Center.
