Jacqueline “Jackie” Shirley Hipkins Page, 72 years, of Perryville, MD, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family. Born August 16, 1953 in Havre de Grace, MD, she was the daughter of the late George K. and Mildred R. Hipkins.
Jackie grew up in Perryville and was a graduate of Perryville High School Class 1972. She later earned her degree in Paralegal Studies from the University of Baltimore, a proud accomplishment that reflected her determination and dedication.
For many years, Jackie worked as a property manager for Cabell Corporation at their Richmond Hill property. Her kindness, humor, and genuine care for others made her more than just a colleague, but a friend to everyone she met.
Jackie’s true joy was her family. She loved nothing more than spending time with her children and grandson, especially while cheering from the sidelines at sporting events. She was happiest surrounded by loved ones, dancing to good music, laughing at family get-togethers, trying her luck at the casino, or soaking up the sun in Ocean City during summer vacations. Her bright spirit and easy smile could light up a room.
Jackie is lovingly remembered by her son, Michael Page; daughter, Alischa Smith and husband, Samuel; adored grandson, Tyson Smith; brother-in-law, Kenneth Nickle; nephew, Larry Nickle; and many dear friends who became like family over the years.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, November 3, 2025, 12 Noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, November 3, 2025, 11 AM until 12 Noon, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of Principio Church, Perryville, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Principio Cemetery, Perryville, MD.
Jackie will be welcomed into eternal rest beside her parents, George K. and Mildred R. Hipkins; brothers, Larry Hipkins and David C. Hipkins, sister, Joan I. Nickle; and niece, Laura Ann Nickle.
Following the interment, family and friends are invited to gather at the Susquehanna American Legion Post No. 135 in Perryville, 1 PM, for a repast to share memories, laughter, and love in honor of Jackie’s beautiful life.
Jackie will always be remembered for her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for her family. Her spirit will live on in every smile, every song, and every joyful moment shared by those who were blessed to know her.
The family would like to acknowledge a special friend who has been an amazing supporter of Jackie and a blessing to us all ... Charlies Thomas.
