Melissa Marie Williams was the daughter of the late Ronald and Sharon Strayer. She was born December 06, 1962 in Altoona, PA, and departed this earthly life on Monday October 20, 2025 at the age of 62.
Melissa graduated from Stafford Senior High School in 1979 in the eleventh grade and went on to study to become a Nurse’s Assistant in college. Melissa joined Kelsi’s Cleaning Services and started working as a team member working three days a week. In December 2021 as a cleaner and quickly stood out for her dedication and leadership and soon began helping as a Team Lead. By April of 2022 she had become the Team and Office Manager. Without much formal training, Melissa taught herself everything she needed to know. She spent her evenings watching YouTube Tutorials on how to use the necessary daily Office Managerial products organizing the business billing system and finding ways to improve business practices. She caught money that had been missed by the previous Manager and set up payroll systems from scratch. Using her Navy Wife skills, she brought structure, accountability and efficiency to every aspect of the young company. Her impact was nothing short of transformational. From 2022 to 2025, the Office grew from 10 teams to 20 teams and from 5 company vehicles to more than 20. The Headquarters Office in April 2023 also grew because of her selfless efforts and resulted in July 2024 to a large Management Office. Melissa handled every challenge with grace, kindness, and professionalism. She cared deeply for every employee and always found ways to make things better for the team. Her creativity, work ethic, and compassion helped shape not only the success of the business but the positive culture that she built within it.
Melissa enjoyed spending time with her family and beloved husband. In her spare time, she loved doing puzzles on the internet.
Melissa leaves to cherish her precious memory, her Husband Brian Williams, Daughter Cheryl Moore (Christopher), Step-son Brian Williams Jr., Sister Rhonda Spittle, Bro in laws Gregory Williams (Toya), Eric Williams (Christine) and Phillip Carey.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ronald and Sharon Strayer.
She will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her.
