Jacqueline D. Johnson, (Jackie) 65, of Pittsburgh, PA was born October 21, 1956, in Pittsburgh, PA. She was the beloved daughter to the late Henry and Julia (Leftwich) Johnson. She was a graduate of Mon Valley High School. Jackie worked 35 years in the Environmental Service for UPMC Children's Hospital. Jackie resided with her loving niece Sarah, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Jackie had several medical issues. She was a diabetic and had an ulcer on her ankle that was healing very, very slowly. She was not able to apply pressure on her ankle which enabled her walking ability. Jackie then had to go to a nursing home to receive the care she needed. While being in the nursing home, Jackie was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer which had started to metastasize. Jackie never complained.
She was always in great spirits and was very optimistic. She always worried about everyone else. Jackie was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church of Duquesne, PA until she was unable to attend church due to her health. Jackie enjoyed her bus trips and Broadway shows. She also enjoyed crocheting blankets and hats, and she loved doing all kinds of puzzles including word searches. Jackie loved all kinds of arts and crafts.
Jackie departed this life on June 26, 2022, at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville, PA. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Edward Johnson, Sr., mother, Julia Dorothy (Leftwich) Johnson, brothers, Richard B. Johnson, Henry Edward Johnson, Jr.

Johnson; sister-in-law, Chu Johnson, of White Oak, PA, her nephew Benjamin Johnson and family of Plum Borough, PA., her niece Nicole Johnson, Anderson of St. Paul, MN., her sister-in-law Rebecca Johnson, sister/niece, Sarah Walker, nephews Chodde, Walt, and great nephew Deaundre and niece Danaja of Pittsburgh, PA; her niece Cynthia (James) Perkins from Selma, Al whom Jackie always called her daughter, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
