Jacqueline Kozakiewicz
September 7, 1937 – September 22, 2025

Jacqueline Kozakiewicz, 88, of South Bend, peacefully passed away on September 22, 2025.

Born on September 7, 1937, in South Bend, Indiana, she was the daughter of Aloyius and Henrietta (Dietz) Tobolski. On February 1, 1958, Jacqueline married the love of her life, Joseph A. Kozakiewicz, with whom she shared many cherished years until his passing.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband Joseph A. Kozakiewicz; her son, Joseph M. Kozakiewicz; her grandchildren, Joseph M. Kozakiewicz, Autumn Rayl, and Kylo Blair; and her sister, Geraldine Marnocha.

She is survived by her sons: Jeffrey A. (Michelle) Kozakiewicz of Greer, SC, and James A. (Christine) Kozakiewicz of Noblesville, IN. Also surviving are her beloved grandchildren: Kelly (Tyler) Rayl, Courtney Kozakiewicz, Destiny (Noah) Blair, Michael Kozakiewicz, Steven Kozakiewicz, and Nikola Kozakiewicz; and five great-grandchildren: Axle and Maverick Rayl, Ariella and Lucas Blair, and Emerson Kozakiewicz. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara (Richard) Orosz.

Jacqueline deeply loved her family and found great joy in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her life was a reflection of her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and her devotion to the Catholic Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2025, in Corpus Christi Church, with a luncheon to follow.

Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her loved ones in eternal peace.
