The funeral service for Jacqueline "Jackie" Fowler McIntyre, 74, of Anniston, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Forestlawn Mausoleum Chapel with The Rev. David Hodnett officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the mausoleum.

Jackie went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at her home in Anniston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline Heathcock Fowler and Albert Jackson "Jack" Fowler of Anniston, and her grandparents, Mary Ethel Taylor Heathcock and George Washington Heathcock.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Jerry G. McIntyre of Piedmont; sisters, Karen Fowler and Paula Segrest, both of Anniston; stepson, Christopher McIntyre of Pleasant Valley; her only nephew, Brian Segrest (Keitha) of Oxford; great-nieces, Allie Segrest Montgomery (Will) and Rylee Segrest Baxter (Tyler); great-great-nephews, William Allinder Montgomery and Cooper Brooks Baxter; great-great-niece, Collins Avery Baxter; aunt, Christine Kennedy of Tennessee; step-granddaughters, Ashley Reeves Parker, Misty McIntyre Herron, Kandle McIntyre Sullivan, and Reese McIntrye; and step-grandson, Conner McIntyre; and several great-grandchildren.

Jackie was lovingly known as "Mimi" to Jerry's twin grandchildren, Reese and Connor McIntyre of Weaver. She and Jerry cherished their time with Christopher and his twins, spending many weekends reading, playing, and making memories that will be treasured always.

Jackie dedicated many years of service to her country through her work with the Department of Defense at Fort McClellan, retiring in 1999. Earlier in her career, she served with the United States Secret Service in Birmingham and with the Social Security Administration. Following her retirement, she continued to serve her community through her work at the Christian Life Center at Parker Memorial Baptist Church in Anniston.
