Jacqueline A. Poole

Jacqueline Ann was born in Rome, Georgia, on November 14, 1937. She lived much of her childhood and life in Detroit, Michigan. Her parents, Julian and Evelyn Sutton preceded her in death.
Jacqueline was married for over 60 years to James Franklin Poole, also from Detroit, who passed on to heaven in 2017. Jacqueline is survived by three children, Barbara (Paul) Frizzell, Brenda (Chris) Paschke, and James Franklin (Amanda) Poole Jr.; 10 grandchildren, Matthew (Renee) Frizzell, Michael (Sabrina) Frizzell, Erin (Brad) Marowelli, Craig (Ashley) Paschke, Mark (Mindy) Frizzell, Mitchell (Clarita) Frizzell, Juliet Poole, James Daniel Poole, John Poole, and Jovie Poole; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; five siblings, Julian, Scotty, Jim Sutton, and Jane Sutton Marshall – all living in the Detroit area. Randy Sutton her youngest brother, is with her in heaven. Jacqueline worked as a school secretary and a paraprofessional in Detroit, and a pre-school teacher's aide in Hillsdale. She taught children in Sunday School for many years. One of her last prayers that we heard her speak in July 2025 was this, "Lord, I am going to see you next year or maybe sooner, and that's ok. Help us to remember to teach the children about you." She was right and went to see Jesus on December 16, 2025.

Jacqueline's family will receive friends and family on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Hampton Funeral Home in Hillsdale. There will be a one-hour visitation on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 10:00am until the time of the service at 11:00am at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Hendrick officiating.
