Jacqueline Giordani Riviere (Mamy Quiquine)
Please join us in remembering the life of Jacqueline Giordani Riviere, otherwise known as Manmy Quiquine, Jacotte, Tante Jacqueline, Madan Colo etc....
Jacqueline Giordani Riviere was born on July 25th 1936, in Hinche (Haiti), to the late Brunel and Vertulie Giordani.
Jacqueline (Mamy Quiquine) was a dedicated mother to her sons, Marly, Ronald and Steve Riviere, whom she loved deeply. Jacqueline was a warm, nurturing soul with an unwavering spirit. She had a passion for cooking and gardening. She found great joy and consolation in the word of GOD, and was known for her kindness and generosity. Jacqueline's love for her family and friends was unmatched, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Jacqueline was predeceased by her beloved husband, Mercius Riviere, and Marly her first born, her mother Vertulie, brother Max and sister Edeline. Jacqueline is survived by two sons, Ronald and Steve; her 2 daughters in law Roselyne and Abelarde Riviere; her grandchildren, Israel, Djimitry, Sarah, Jonathan and Benjamin; and her sister Denise (Tante Den),her brother Guy (uncle Guy), her sister in law Yolande (Taty Yolande). She will be deeply missed not only by all her cherished nieces and Nephews: Ernst, Mildred, Regine, Jude, Erik, Rachel, Guirlhene and Gregory; but also all relatives in the Riviere Family, the Giordani Family, the Senz family, the Brea Family, the Brizard family etc. She will be deeply missed as well by all her long lasting friends in Haiti, Chicago, Florida, Canada, France, as well as her many "adopted children" for whom she will forever be remembered: Manmy Quiquine.
We could summarize her life with these words in the book she revered so much:1 John 4:7
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him.
