Jacqueline Savacool Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 4, 2024.
Jacqueline Lee Savacool, (Jackie) 88, went to be the Lord on Friday, August 2, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.
Jackie was born on January 23, 1936, in Bradford, PA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Craig Savacool (Dick), her son Richard Savacool Jr. (Rickey), her parents, Clement (Bud) and Ethel Edel, and her four brothers, Lamont (Monty), Richard (Dick)l, Frederick (Butch) and Jay Edel.
Jackie is survived by her daughters Deborah Miller and her husband Scott Miller, Kelley Savacool, son Robert Savacool and his wife Michelle Savacool, her nine grandchildren, Noél Bartlett, Candee Pruiett, Ashlee Abasolo, Joshua Miller, Dakota Savacool, Leah Miller, Brice Savacool, Chase Savacool, Cody Baxter, ten great-grandchildren, and her sister Kay Bessenhoffer.
Jackie attended Cazenovia College and Bryant & Stratton Business Institute and graduated with a Stenographic Secretarial degree in 1957. She then went to work for US Steel where she met Dick. They were married soon after and remained married for 61 years until his death in 2020. She was a proud wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. When her children were younger, she supported them in all their activities, including Girl Scouts, where she volunteered as a leader, swimming, volleyball, softball, baseball, and many others; she truly was her children's biggest fan! Nothing made her happier than being a wife, mom, and grandmother.
She was a woman of faith and enjoyed spending time with her church family. Her hobbies were playing tennis, hosting gatherings, spending time with her family, playing cards, and shopping.
We will miss her strong-willed, persevering, caring personality. However, we are comforted to know she is celebrating in Heaven with Dick, Rickey, and loved ones.
Memorial Service will be on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 2:30 in the afternoon at St. Timothy's Anglican Church at 6819 Louetta Rd, Spring, TX 77379
