Jacqueline Blanche "Jackie" Schaefer

Jacqueline "Jackie" Blanche Schaefer, 76, of Bartlesville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

Jackie was born in Peoria, Illinois, February 8, 1950, to Michael Van Cochran and Lula Mae Clark Cochran.

Jackie was an amazing sister to her siblings, protective of her friends, and a very devoted daughter as well. She loved her many nieces, nephews, and extended family beyond measure.

Her interests made her a writer, an artist, and businesswoman. Jackie's intelligence and savvy was recognized by several amazing mentors that hired her to manage several businesses and enterprises over her career.

Despite her health becoming very difficult in her later years, she always maintained a business savvy.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Michael Van Cochran and Lula Mae Cochran; brother, Michael A. Cochran; nephews, Aaron Castle and Nick Cochran.

She is survived by her sister, Phyllis (Roger) Harlan; brother, Jim (Pam) Cochran; sister, Sherrie (Charlie) Wilcox; brother, Mark (Judy) Cochran; brother, Dawes Cochran; as well as five nieces and four nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2026, at Dewey First Baptist Church, Dewey, OK, with Pastor Mark Wright officiating. Burial will follow at the Dewey Cemetery.
