Jacqueline Marie Smith, 93 of Mill Hall, passed away on August 16th, 2025 at UPMC Williamsport Hospital.

Jacque was born in Lock Haven to the late Samuel and Lilah (Hunter) Walker on December 28th, 1931. She graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1949 and was a member of the Mill Hall United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir.

Jacque married William H. Smith on May 15th, 1954. They recently celebrated their 71st Anniversary.

She worked at Fromm's Dry Cleaning in her earlier years. Jacque and Bill then owned and operated Walker's Hardware and Supply in Lock Haven for 17 years, until retirement in 1995. She enjoyed following her grandchildren's sporting events and providing Starburst's to the girls basketball team.

Jacque is survived by her husband and two daughters, Judith L. (Joseph) Rishel and Patricia D. (Steve) Stevenson; two grandchildren, Michael (Melanie) Stevenson and Sandra (Justin) Clarke; three step grandchildren, Max (Holly) Rishel, Todd (Jennifer) Rishel, and Ashley (Tim) Walker; three great grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Cunningham.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Nurses and Staff at Lock Haven Rehabilitation and Senior Living.

Services are under the direction of Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 121 W. Main St. Lock Haven Pa 17745.

Memorial donations can be made through the funeral home to the Mill Hall United Methodist Church.
