Sara E. Englert, 93, of Blanchard Pa, passed away on August 25, 2025 at The Lock Haven Rehabilitation and Senior Living Center.

She was born on November 1, 1931 in Jacksonville Pa to Henry F. Moore and Eva I. Raemsch. She went to Lock Haven High School and graduated in 1950. Sara was a homemaker in her own home and enjoyed gardening and crafting, while caring for her daughter Kimberly. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church where she had been active as a Sunday School Teacher for many years and was part of the Women's Missionary Circle. She was also a member of the Forget-Me-Not Garden Club and the Friendship Circle. Sara and her husband Harold were married for 75 years.

Sara is survived by her husband, Harold R. Englert, her son Harold F. (Brenda) Englert, and numerous grandchildren (Meisha (Matthew) McDermit, Aleisha (Nathan) Jarrells, and Lindsey Englert) and great grandchildren (Kyleigh, Kullen, Abel, Christian, and Chase). She was preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly G. Englert, and her sisters Virginia (Moore) Thompson, Regis M. Moore, and Regis I. (Moore) Waltz. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Malcom, Wilbur, Meril, Clair, Earl, and Clyde Moore.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, Pa 17745.
