Marjorie V. Myers, 95, formerly of Avis Pa., passed away on September 28, 2025 in Hamburg, New York. She was born in Salona, Pa. to parents James E. Mayes and Esther J. Fisher. She was a home maker and went on to work at the Woolrich Woolen Mills as a seamstress until her retirement in 1992. She was an avid member of the Avis United Methodist Church for many years and was also involved in food distribution from the church and the many activities that took place.

Marjorie V. Myers is survived by her son Robert (Norma) S. Myers, of West Seneca, New York, her 4 grandchildren: Patrick, Katie, Andy, and Greg, her 8 great grandchildren. Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Myers who passed July 16, 2004, son Dennis L. Myers, and granddaughter: Jennifer. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Ira C. Mayes, James E. Mayes, Carl S. Mayes, Donald Mayes, Clifford Mayes, and Robert Mayes and her sisters, Pearl Temple, Mary E. Savrock, and Lois Kline.

Funeral Services for Marjorie V. Myers will be held at the Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services LLC., 121 W. Main St. Lock Haven, Pa 17745 on Friday October 3 at 1:00 pm. Officiating will be Pastor Martin Parr of the Avis United Methodist Church. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home 1 hour prior to services. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, McElhattan, Pa. 17745.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Avis United Methodist Church, 215 Prospect Ave, Avis Pa 17721.
