Mary Ann Englert, 70, of Whitehall, passed away on Saturday October 18, 2025. Born in Allentown, Mary Ann was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth (Gehringer) Englert. She was a 1974 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School. Mary Ann worked as a salesclerk for Marshalls prior to her retirement.
Mary Ann was a devout member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Stiles. She was the church organist for St. John the Baptist and her former parish St. Fransis of Assisi for over 25 years. She was an avid reader, and was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, whose family was her greatest joy. She loved her granddogs, and was instrumental in their training and upbringing.
Surviving Mary Ann is her daughter Heather, wife of Frank Mastropieri, and her grandchildren Tyler and Alex. Additionally, Mary Ann is survived by her brother James Englert and his wife Annette and their daughters, and numerous other family members and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday November 7, 2025, at 10:00am in St. John the Baptist Church, 3024 Ruch Street Stiles, PA. A calling period will be held from 9:00-10:00am in the church prior to mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Mary Ann's memory to the American Cancer Society, or Mary Ann's church, care of the funeral home, 908 Hanover Avenue, Allentown Pa 18109.
