Kathryn Anne Harvey of Hatboro PA, passed away on October 4, 2025 at her residence in the Moreland Towers Apartments. She had just turned 90 years old, the month prior. Kathryn was the beloved wife of the late Thomas P. Harvey.
Born in Montour County PA, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Kathryn M. (Neary) Roth. The family moved to Shamokin PA for 5 years before calling Reading PA their permanent home.
Kathryn was a graduate of Central Catholic High School (1954). She spent many years as a devoted housewife, caring for and raising her children. At times, she would take on office work as supplement income so her family could prosper. Moving to Horsham PA, she played the organ for services at St Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Warrington PA. In her later years, she worked with the elderly as a home healthcare aide with Senior Helpers in Harleysville PA. She retired at the age of 85. She was an avid contributor to many charitable organizations.
Kathryn is survived by her brother Bob Roth (Sinking Springs, PA); her brother Bill Roth (Reading, PA), preceded her in death. She is also survived by her children: son Ken, husband of Barbara Harvey (Hatboro, PA); daughter Joanne, wife of Donald Miller (Warminster, PA); daughter Laura, wife of Dave Bamberger (Ormand Beach, FL); daughter Dianne, wife of Michael Hartwell (Newtown, PA); and son Jack, husband of Camillia Heffle (Chesterfield, VA) and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Kathryn was also preceded in death by a son, Jim Heffle.
