Jacqueline Morris Thompson

Jacqueline Morris “Jackie” Thompson, 63, of Moultrie, died Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at her home.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend F.L. Castle officiating. The family will receive friends and family immediately following the service.

Born on November 30, 1961, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy Dewey Morris and Annette Pitts Morris. Jackie found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially watching movies and spending time with those she held dear. Her home was a place of warmth and comfort, where love was always present and family came first. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her kind heart, and the way she made everyone feel welcome. Though she may be gone, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard “Ricky” Thompson, III; and her great-granddaughter, Brynlee Watkins.

She is survived by her children, Richawn Thompson Ruffin and husband Nigel and Anthony Jerome Thompson, all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Tyler Scott, Tayler Scott, Bryanna Green, Alexis Thompson, and Ricky Jaden Thompson; great-grandchildren, Braylee Frager, Harlee Scott and Arman Green; and brothers, Donnie Lynn Morris and Jimmy Morris, all of Moultrie.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home & Crematory.
