The harvest is never referred to as an untimely cutting of the grain; rather it is
always in its season. Therefore, the passing of our loved one should not be viewed
as untimely, but in the season of God's choosing. From the root, a robust life
blossoms physically, intellectually and, most importantly, spiritually while
navigating joy and sorrow. This bounty, a blessing from God, is a gift made possible
through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Though sad and painful, we are all faced with the reality that we will have to leave
this earthly place. Death provides a release from pain, heartache, and suffering
from the weeds and thorns of life. It provides a triumph over sin, grief, and loss.
Though there may be many unanswered questions, regrets, and heartache along the
way, death is imminent; however, it offers new opportunities for the living to
embrace that which is lost and find comfort in new beginnings. We are all
burdened with problems, no one greater than the other. Luke 6:37, teaches us to
reflect on our lives, rather than judging the lives of others. Life is not defined by
time on earth, possessions, or status, but rather by purpose, humility and the
compassion of ministering to the needs of those less fortunate than you.
Mrs. Jacquelyn O. Love, eloquently known by family and friends as Jac and Jackie,
left her earthly home on the evening of September 4, 2025. Jac lived in Burtonsville,

humility. Jac's life began on January 29, 1957, in McBee, South Carolina to the late
Rufus and Elizabeth Outen. Her mother ensured she knew the importance of both
accepting and having a relationship with Christ.
In her youth, while a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, she sang in the choir and served as Sunday School
secretary for a few years.
Jac graduated from McBee High School as a member of the
class of 1975. During those early years, Jac met and later married the late Tommy
Love of
Hartsville, South Carolina on March 3rd, 1978. In her pursuit of knowledge,
she obtained a number of certifications which ultimately enabled her to hold
various positions in the insurance industry. When her professional career came to
an end, she dedicated her time to her family and enjoying her devotions, her
favorite being "Breakfast with Jesus".
Married for over 47 years, she adored Tommy as he was the love of her life. Her
children and grandchildren were her heart and soul and she loved them dearly. Jac
is survived by her two children Le'Ron and his wife Lauren of Gaithersburg, MD and
Arlecia of Houston, Texas. She had one dearly missed son Terrie Jerod Love, who

So, on this day as we say goodbye to her earthly body, we find peace in knowing her
soul is at rest. The burdens and disappointments of this world are no more, and the
joy of seeing you again will be our fervent prayer.
