Jacquelyn Andersen was born on March 7, 1936 in Brainerd, MN to the late Hans and Adeline (Sorg) Andersen. She grew up in Cushing, MN on her family farm with her parents and three siblings. She attended school in Pillager, MN. After graduating, she went on to earn her Registered Nursing License from Hamline University. Jackie was united in marriage to James D. Magee on June 30, 1956 at Randall Presbyterian Church in Randall. They lived in Randall where they raised their six children and operated a beef cattle and hog farm. In addition to being a wonderful homemaker, Jackie enjoyed a career as a registered nurse which included time working at a hospital, nursing homes, elementary school, and most recently through Morrison County Public Health. Family was central to Jackie's life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She especially enjoyed the many family gatherings throughout the years filled with many stories, laughter, and love. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought her much joy and she cherished the time spent with each of them. A lifelong music lover, Jackie taught piano lessons for many years and served as a pianist for the Randall Presbyterian Church for over 60 years. She enjoyed participating in their choir and in later years, she enjoyed playing the saxophone in the church band. Jackie also loved the outdoors. She enjoyed vegetable gardening, tending to her flowers, and taking walks whenever possible. Jackie's life was a testament to her faith in Jesus Christ. She displayed love, service, and patience throughout her life. She will be remembered for her love of her family, kindness, humor, music, and the way she made everyone feel welcomed and cared for. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy will continue to shine on in the many lives she touched.

Jackie is survived by sons, Kevin Magee (Virginia) of Buffalo, MN; Mike Magee (Shirley) of Rice Lake, WI; Steven Magee (Angie) of Randall, MN; Chris Magee (Kari) of Randall, MN; daughters, Beth Magee-Beyer (Jim) of Centerville, MN; Lori Magee-Hill of St. Cloud, MN; 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Gene Gullickson.
