Jacquelyn "Jackie" Mussett, age 70, of Appleton WI, joined Jesus in heaven on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Prairie Homes Assisted Living in Menasha, WI.
Jackie was born to Alois and Eugene (Wayne) Mussett on October 25, 1953.
Jackie had a deep love of cats, leaving behind two mischievous orange kitties Sebastian and Garfield. Jackie loved birds (hand raising dozens of parakeets and cockatiels), collecting anything elephants, reading mystery novels and watching crime shows while playing games on her electronic devices to keep her mind sharp. She enjoyed working at various grocery store bakeries, ending her career working at the Neenah Wal-Mart bakery for over 15 years.
Jackie is survived by her children Brett (Sam) Bates and Lori (Joseph) Thyssen; grandchildren Tanner, Maddison, Alex, Gavin, Lizzy; three great grandchildren; as well as additional family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Jeffrey, and sisters Dawn and Pam.
Brett and Lori are hosting a celebration of life and remembrance Sunday April 21, 2024 between 3pm and 5pm at The Vine Christian Fellowship (located at 720 W Ridgeview Dr Appleton WI). Jackie requested to not have a traditional service, so this is a time to come as you are able and share memories with family and friends.
