Seneca – Jacquelyn "Jackie" Florence Pate, 89, loving wife of the late Tex Rickard Pate, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
Born on March 12, 1936 in Dawsonville, Georgia, Jackie was the daughter of the late SR and Mamie Smith McClure. Jackie worked as an administrative secretary for GTTSI and was a devoted member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Jackie is survived by her sons, Rick Pate (Andrea) of Salem, SC, Cat Pate (Lisa) of Tamassee, SC; daughter, Jennifer White (Mark) of Seneca, SC; grandchildren, Levi Pate, Chase Pate, Caleb Pate (Brittany), Addie Pate, Lucas White (Naomi), Riley White, Allissa White, Brady Arnold (Chloe); and great-grandchildren, Nyima White, Valerie Pate.
Jackie is preceded in death by her husband and parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
The family is at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jackie's memory may be made to the Oconee Humane Society, PO Box 966, West Union, SC 29696. Condolences may be expressed online by visiting www.sandiferfuneralhome.com.
