Jacquilyn Ann Dupuis, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2023, in Lapeer, Michigan. Born on February 22, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, Jacquilyn, known fondly as Jackie, lived a life defined by love, gentleness, and selflessness.
Jackie was a devoted wife to her husband, Phil, and a loving mother to her daughters, Michelle (Doug) Michael, and Teri Dupuis. She was a cherished grandmother to Alysia (Kenneth) Charter, Lacey (Allen) Pitts, and Joshua Michael, and a doting great-grandmother to DaKota (Samantha), Riley, Keegan, Jennalyn, Mason, Landon, Lorelei, and Hunter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Theresa Rosinski, her son David, and her brother Dennis.
Jackie dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Her compassion and commitment were evident in her work, where she touched the lives of countless patients and their families. She was a woman of strength and resilience, always putting others before herself, a trait that was admired by all who knew her.
Beyond her professional life, Jackie had a zest for life that was infectious. She was an avid fan of the Detroit Red Wings and NASCAR, her passion for both sports bringing joy and excitement to those around her. Jackie also had a keen interest in genealogy, spending countless hours tracing her family's roots and sharing these stories with her loved ones. Her love for rocky road ice cream and chocolate was well-known, often serving as the centerpiece of family gatherings and celebrations. Her and Phil also enjoyed many adventures on their BMW motorcycles.
Jackie's life was a testament to her loving, gentle, and selfless nature. She had a unique ability to make those around her feel loved and valued, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere wherever she was. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will remember her for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebratory Mass for Jackie will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home – Columbiaville.
