He started as a cabinet maker before, accepting a road crew position with traveling bands such as Zonkaraz, The Trailers, Kim Page Band, Preston Porter, and Down East. Ray was also a Head Chef, for Paul Vuona’s Firehouse Café many years. In 2006, Raymond and Roberta moved to North Carolina where they have lived for the past 19 years.
Ray is survived by his devoted wife Roberta; a son, Kevin M. Dupuis, and his wife Julie; a grandson Kevin D. Dupuis, and his wife Maddy; five great grandchildren; a sister, Marie Brissette; two brothers, Edward Dupuis and his wife Nancy, and Robert Dupuis; many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

He was an avid fishman, who loved to cook, watch the sunrises and sunsets of Ocean Isle, North Carolina, the holidays, special occasions and family gatherings.
