Jacy Harrison Barry

BARRY, Jacy H. - age 33, of Flint, died November 21, 2023. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creel, MI 48473. The family will receive friends from 10 AM - 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Jacy was born November 19, 1990 in Flint, the son of Oscar H. Barry, Jr. and Jill McEwen. He was a forklift driver for Android Industries for many years. Jacy enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting for antique arrowheads, fast cars, especially Firebirds and his beloved truck and drifting. Surviving are: mother, Jill McEwen (Gary Thompson); mother, Julie Barry; significant other, Katie Walker and her son, Kohen; siblings, Nathan (Jen) Hank, BJ (Tishauna) Murray, Joel (Jessica) Murray, Meagan (Corey) Mills, Jordan Murray, Jimmy Luxton and Jilaena Luxton, Trent Thompson, Kaleb Thompson and Ellyssa Thompson; many nieces and nephews that he adored; and his dog, Chase. He was preceded in death by: his father, Oscar H. Barry, Jr. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to National Suicide Prevention or ALS.
